I tried pretty much all advanced network adapter settings in the guest system to improve the bandwidth, nothing improved it to usable speeds. Wireshark of same experiment from host system: I dumped the output of 'Get-NetAdapterAdvancedProperty -Name 'Network Bridge' -AllProperties | Format-Table -AutoSize | Out-File -Width 300 'network.txt'' to I set the Jumbo Packet to 9014 bytes, when it is set to 'disabled' the bandwidth is much lower (around 0.2Mbit). The network settings of the network bridge: Duesy Posts: 1 Joined: 15.Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3920.0ġ) Without bridge (left VM, right host system): 970Mbit/sĢ) With bridge (set the bridge to static IP, no change on host): 3.3Mbit when sending from guest system (VM, left) to hostģ) Deactivating the 2nd network adapter (which is not used at all): ~3MbitĤ) Deactivating the 2nd network adapter (which is not used at all) in the bridge: ~3Mbitĥ) the other direction, from host (right in image) to guest system: ~250Mbit Guest machine can see and interact with other machines on the network and vica versa. So in the end, I was able to connect my guest to my domain, set a static IP on that guest, keep my host with a specific, static like, IP address using a reservation in DHCP and everything on the domain works like it should without any issues. I even then set a static IP address for my guest machine on its NIC properties. I then created the network bridge between my host NIC and the Virtualbox Host Interface. I set the NIC to DHCP and entered a reservation for my host in my domain DHCP server so the server still would get the specific address I needed it to have because it is a file and print server in my domain. Having a static IP address set causes the 'Bridge Connections' to be greyed-out.

My host NIC card has to have the Obtain IP Address Automatically set in the properties of the NIC.
